EMOC for General practitioners: A three months continuing training consisting of lectures and hands on training to enable general practitioners to develop surgical skill to provide Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric Care in a rural hospital.

EMOC for nurses/midwives: a two - Six weeks training consisting of lectures and hands on training for nursing staff working in health centers to enable them to provide basic emergency obstetric care.

Post Abortion Care: A one week refresher training for physicians working in Gynecologic wards of different hospitals. The course is delivered through lectures and hands on skill development in hospital settings.

Norplant implant: A one week training conducted to physicians and nurses working at family planning clinics in selected health centers.

Continuing medical education

Sexual assault diagnosis and management: A two days training workshop for physicians involved in caring for victims of sexual assault. For full text refer to 11th annual conference.

Maternal mortality Audit: A one day workshop on methods of auditing maternal deaths conducted on may 24 2004.

ALARM: A training workshop conducted in collaboration with the Canadian society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists to practicing obstetricians and Gynecologists from Ethiopia and members of ECSAOGS. For full information refer to 4TH ECSAOGS conference.
